Starting Over

This is another fresh, new start…literally.

My husband and I have relocated to Southern California from Arizona, and thus far, things are great. Also, I graduated from nursing school this past December, and I passed the NCLEX-RN. Yes, I am finally a licensed Registered Nurse. So many great things have happened for us in such a small amount of time, and we couldn’t be happier.

Starting something new is always a challenge, and it can be more challenging when you’re married. You have to always consider your spouse’s feelings and emotions when you embark on a new journey. Thankfully, my husband and I have been each other’s #1 cheerleader through this phase of changes.

Now that I’m done with nursing school and the NCLEX-RN, I want to get back into my hobbies. One of my favorite hobbies is writing. I’ve had blogs previously, and I enjoyed running them. However, I stopped blogging last year during the summer. At the time, blogging became boring and at times, negative. That summer, I wanted to focus on my life and not document it anymore. I needed that “me” time. Also, I wanted to put all of my extra time into school, my marriage, and my actual life (i.e. real family, friends, real social life).

Now that I have the major things out of the way, I feel like I can exhale and get back to some of the basics…writing and blogging.

This blog will be very simple.

I don’t have an agenda, I don’t wish to sell anything, and I don’t wish to publish click-bait material. All I wish to do is to share some of the moments of my life that makes me have the “Happy Wife Life.”

Welcome to my world.

My husband and I recently relocated to California as well. I started my blog in the wake of that chaotic and challenging move. Like you, I hope to capture mostly the joys of our crazy life together, but I also want to be honest about the trials. The balance I’m trying to find is in the tension of being honest but staying positive.

Hi! Thanks for stopping by. I understand you 100%. I’ve been feeling that way as well. Moving is very stressful, and it can bring out the worst in people. I’m sure you will be fine. As one of my good friends would say, “Just breathe. Take a moment and breathe.” 🙂
